Hi everyone!
I really hate writing things like this, but this situation has got to a point where I feel I need to remind everyone.
Everything on Photography Awesomesauce is copyrighted. Please do not copy and paste my articles and post them on your own blog. If you would like to share an article I wrote on your blog please ask permission. It is breaking federal copyright law to take the information here and repost it without exclusive permission to do so. It is important that when you share information here that you credit the source of the information correctly. You are always welcome to link back to this website and share the links to things you find interesting with your photographer friends, but it is not okay to take the information and repost it.
Over the next week I will be emailing to ask those who I have found doing this personally to ask them to remove my articles from their websites. I hate to do this and I know everyone appreciate the advice here and I’m happy that you love it enough to share it, but if my articles are not removed from these websites I will have to follow up with legal cease and desist requests to those who have been violating copyright.
Thanks for understanding everyone and for all of your support. I know many of you value this website greatly and have always treated this place with great respect and I appreciate it and YOU.
Thanks,
Carrie

Jack Bingham - Why would anyone ruin a good thing like this? I totally enjoy receiving these emails. It only takes one person to blow it. I am always looking for help and tips with my photography so I am bummed. Thanks for all you have done for me.
Cheers Jack
Carrie - Thanks Jack, this stuff happens unfortunately and it comes with the territory, but I really appreciate the support of everyone. Everything has now been resolved and fixed.
Kasandra Mathieson - Carrie, I just found your website and have been enjoying your articles…I certainly relate to this one! I keep a small blog about my family and scrapbooking and you can imagine our surprise when a friend of my daughter’s saw her picture advertising eggnog on a billboard in front of a store in Vancouver! When we tracked it down because they had taken it off my blog, seems like they had a print shop do it….of course they both blamed each other! The print shop owner was totally ignorant and wouldn’t give us the time of day. I would like to have pursued it, but figured it would cost more in legal fees than it was worth!! I now try to make sure all my pictures have a watermark on them….
Good luck with your endeavours!!!
